Discussed keeping wheels off the walker as, even on flat surfaces, it is not permitted.

An unannounced monitoring/renewal inspection was conducted today from 3 to 3:50 PM. There were 6 children directly supervised by 3 staff for a total of 17 points. The home, staff records, children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating snack. Diapering procedures and hand washing were also observed. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-770-40-D-4-a Description: Based on interview and record review, it was determined the Provider did not obtain the correct Central Registry Search for a household member that recently moved back into the home.
Household member moved back in August and has background checks but the Central registry is not the correct search.Plan of Correction: Will send out the correct one through the portal.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-B Description: Based on review of children's records, it was determined one file did not include emergency contact's addresses. Plan of Correction: Will have complete by end of business tomorrow.
