Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on October 14, 2022, to determine the provider?s compliance with family day home standards. The inspection begin at 11:45 PM and was concluded at 1:15 PM. During this inspection, there were two children in care totaling seven points being cared for by one caregiver. Upon arrival the children were observed playing with various age appropriate play materials. The inside play area, restroom, and kitchen area were inspected. The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. The first aid kit, emergency supplies, daily attendance, fire and shelter-in-place drills were reviewed. During the inspection, two children's records, and the provider's records were reviewed. Violations were cited and are documented on the violation notice. Description: Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure potentially poisonous substances were stored in areas inaccessible to children. Evidence: 1. A can of Lysol disinfectant spray was stored on a changing table 2. A bottle of Clorox Multi-Purpose Cleaner was stored in the restroom on top of a trash can.
