A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 10/17/2022. There were 12 children present with 3 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-F Description: Based on a review of caregiver and provider records and provider interview, caregivers who work directly with children did not have the annual update for the health and safety.
Evidence:
Caregiver A did not have the annual health and safety update during the inspection. The provider confirmed they did not have the training.Plan of Correction: The caregiver will complete the training and the provider will send it to me when finished.
