A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/30/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-180-D Description: Based on record review, the provider did not maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child as it occurs.
Evidence:
1. Upon arrival at the home, there were seven children in care. The attendance sheet indicated only 5 children were present at that time.Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-B Description: Based on record review and provider interview, 1 of 2 caregivers did not complete the Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff sponsored by the Department of Education within the first 90 days of employment.
Evidence:
1.There was no documentation in the record for Caregiver #1 of the completed training.
2.The provider confirmed Caregiver #1 has not yet completed the training.Plan of Correction: Caregiver will complete the training by next week.
