All childcare providers are required to obtain 16 hours of training annually.

An unannounced mandated inspection was conducted on December 13, 2022. There were 6 child (17 points) with 2 caregiver's supervising. The home, children's records, staff records, household member records, evacuation logs, attendance logs, first aid kits and menu's were reviewed. The children were observed eating lunch, singing songs and playing with floor toys. Areas on non-compliance were cited on the violation notice. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-100-A Description: Based on a review of children's records, the provider failed to obtain documentation of a physical examination by or under the direction of a physician prior to a child's attendance or within 30 days after the first day of attendance.
Evidence:
Child #1's record did not contain documentation of a physical by the 30th day of attendance. First day of attendance 2/28/2022.Plan of Correction: I will get information from parents and put in child's file.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-B Description: Based on a review of children's records, the provider failed to obtain required documentation for each child enrolled.
Evidence:
- Child #2's record di not contain documentation of the phone number for each custodial parents place of employment.
- Child #2's record does not contain documentation of the names of persons other than parents who are authorized to pick up the child.
