Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 to determine the provider?s compliance with licensing standards. The inspection begin at 10:30 AM and concluded at 11:40 AM. There were 3 children in care totaling 7 points with one caregiver supervising. The inspector observed the children participating in virtual learning, playing with toys and napping. The family day home has age and stage appropriate materials. The family day home had the following required information posted; the license, last inspection notice, emergency numbers, daily schedule, menu, evacuation plan, and additional parent information. The inspector interacted with the caregivers and children in care. Three children's records, two caregiver records, and one household member?s record were reviewed. Medication is not administered and transportation is not provided. There were violations cited during this inspection. If you have questions, please contact the licensing inspector at 804-588-2362.

Description: Based upon review household member?s record, the provider has not ensured that a child protective services (CPS) central registry search is obtained for all household members over the age of 14 years. Evidence: A search of the central registry was not completed for an adult household member, HH1. HH1 has been residing in the home since in July 2022.
