Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Monitoring inspection was conducted from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. At the time of the inspection there were no children being cared for in the family day home, but 3 children are enrolled and attend primarily before and after school. The records sample size consisted of 3 children?s records and 1 vendor / caregiver record. The vendor states that medication is not currently being administered to children in care at this time. The vendor states that children not routinely transported in a vehicle while in care. Children play outdoors in the back grassy area with direct supervision and close proximity of the vendor. There is no stationary outdoor play equipment located on site. The vendor reports that there have been no accidents or injuries requiring first aid or medical treatment incurred by children in care. There are no children currently enrolled who have diagnosed food allergies. Areas not observable since children were not in care were discussed and reviewed. Thank you for your time during today's inspection. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may be of assistance.
