An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between 11:20am and 12:40pm. There were 4 children present with the Provider for a total of 10 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed finishing lunch and playing freely. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Violations were found during today?s inspection and can be viewed on the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-900-B Description: Based on observation, children were allowed to drink while walking and playing.
Evidence: Child #1 and Child #3 were observed walking, skipping and playing while drinking juice from sippy cups.Plan of Correction: I'll have them sit with the drinks.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-340-C Description: Based on observation, bathrooms were not equipped with all required supplies.
Evidence: Child #1 was observed washing and drying their hands with a fabric hand towel. Disposable paper towels were not available to the children.Plan of Correction: There are paper towels in the bathroom. I need to get them down and open them.
