An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 11:15 a.m. with the provider and assistant. There were 10 children in care ranging in ages from 13 months through 4 years old and two household member children for a total of 26 points. Children were observed during movement and music time, centers, clean up and transition time. A walk through of the home was conducted. Childcare areas, supplies and materials were observed.
Four children's records, the provider record, and assistant record were reviewed. Emergency drills were reviewed and up t o date. The provider expects to complete 17.5 hours of training and the assistant 17 hours of training by the end of the licensure period.
