An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10 :45am- 11:45am. There were 6 children (22 points) directly supervised by 1 caregiver. The home, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, napping and being bottle fed. Diapering procedures were also observed. There was an ample supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-570-A Description: Based on observation the caregiver exceeded 16 points.
Evidence:
Upon inspector arrival to the home at 10:45 am the provider was alone with 6 children ( 22 points). Assistant arrived at approximately 12:00 pm.Plan of Correction: Our assistant called out sick at 6:00 am. My other assistant wasn't feeling well and went to the doctor while the children were napping. We always have 2 people with the children. I will have my daughter help me.
