An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today.
There are currently no children enrolled in the program.
Provider, Household member and cat records were reviewed.
Emergency supplies, first aid supplies, age appropriate toys, games and equipment are available.

Fingerprinting must be done through the Fieldprint vendor.

Standard #: 22.1-289.036-A Description: Based on a review of records, caregiver records do not contain documentation of a nationwide fingerprint search repeated within the allowable 5 year time frame.
Evidence:
The fingerprint results for 2 caregivers are expired.
*Caregiver A's fingerprint results are dated 4/5/18.
*Caregiver B's fingerprint results are date 2/28/18.
The caregivers did obtain repeated fingerprints through Fairfax County Police; however, theses searches are not acceptable as they are not done through the required vendor.Plan of Correction: I will contact OBI to obtain my code for fingerprinting and schedule an appointment as soon as possible.
I misunderstood the email from VDOE regarding fingerprinting costs.
