Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 6/16/2023 with the provider and one assistant. There were 9 children present, ranging in ages from 2 months to 7 years, totaling 19 points. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 0 staff records were reviewed. The children were playing with age appropriate toys and activities and eating lunch.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Description: Based on a review of the emergency drill log on 6/16/2023, the provider did not practice an evacuation drill each month. Evidence: The most recent practiced and documented evacuation drill was dated 4/19/2023.

Plan of Correction: Provider will conduct an evacuation drill monthly.
