Consultation was given on Central Registry Search done through the OBI online portal as well as training links and model forms on the VA DOE Licensing website: https://www.childcare.virginia.gov/home-childcare

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted. Three children were in care with two caregivers for eight points which is within ratios for supervision. Observed infant care (feeding, tummy time and interactions), preschool children in free play, coloring and handwashing/transition to lunch. Lunch served today was spaghetti with meat sauce, carrots, strawberries and milk. Reviewed three children's records, provider and assistant record, emergency preparation, physical space and training. Home has new equipment both inside and outside in the backyard with turf grass under the play structure. Two emergency medications are on-site with authorizations completed and medication stored in a safe manner. Provider's MAT expires 11/2024. Provider participates in USDA food program as well as Early Head Start. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
