A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 7/26/23 from 10:15am to 11:40 am. There were 6 children (18 points) present with 3 caregivers supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-B Description: Based on records review, caregiver did not complete within the first 90 days of employment or service the Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff.
Evidence: Caregiver # 1's first day of employment was 1/19/23. Caregiver # 1 has not completed the Preservice to this date.Plan of Correction: The training will be completed.
