A monitoring inspection was conducted on November 28, 2023 to follow up on previous violations. There were 11 children and 3 staff present during the inspection. Observation of staff supervision of children during the visit. Children were observed individual play, infant bottle fed, tummy time and a group activity. A review of 3 children records and 1 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Systemic Violation
Based on interview and a review of one staff member?s record the provider did not deny continued employment after a Virginia Central Registry finding was not received within 30 days.
Evidence:
1. Staff member 1 has been employed at the home since January 20, 2023, but do not have documentation of results of a search of the child abuse and neglect from Virginia.
2. Interviews confirmed that Staff member 1 has been left alone with children in care to supervise them while provider and other staff members assisted other children with bathrooms and caring for infants.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.

Systemic Violation
Based on observation during the inspection, the provider failed to keep occupied cribs free of soft bedding and stuffed animals.
Evidence: One out of four cribs had a sleeping infant and contained a sound machine and giraffe hanging on the crib while the infant was sleeping.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
