Technical Assistance:
Discussion of enrollment and future staffing.

Discussion of standard 8 VAC 20-800-90.B.2 in reference to Child #4 and their doctor's written note on the Virginia Health Record in regard to vaccinations.

Discussion of Household Member #3 and a CPS check due by August 2024.

Discussion of 16 hours of annual training for Staff #1 to be completed by August 2024. Training websites were shared and reviewed with the Provider.

Discussion of wave operated trash can (kept in bathroom near changing table) and its use in regard to diapering (standard 8 VAC 20-800-690.E).

Comments:
This renewal inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 02/06/2024, between the hours of 9:30 am to 11:30 am. There were 4 children present (10 points), ranging from toddler-age to preschool-age, with 1 caregiver supervising. The children were engaged in the following: music, song, story time, learning, toy play, diapering, hand washing, and other organized activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 4 children records, 1 staff record, and 3 household records were reviewed.

The information gathered during the inspection determined that there was not a violation to an applicable standard, code, and/or law. Therefore, a Violation Notice was not issued.
