A renewal inspection was completed on March 18, 2024 from 12:20 on until 1:46 pm. There was 4 children in care present and 1 household child and 1 caregiver supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records, 1 caregiver, 1 household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 22.1-289.035-A Description: Based on review of records and interview, the provider did not ensure all employees undergo a background check every five years thereafter.
Evidence: In Caregiver's record, the last dated criminal background check was 08/20/2018. Interview with provider confirmed the documentation available for review during the inspection.Plan of Correction: The provider will schedule the appointment today and will ensure results are included in file one complete
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-180-A Description: Based on review of caregiver's record and interview, the provider did not ensure to obtain a current report of tuberculosis screening every two years.
Evidence: In the caregiver's record, there was no documentation found for a current tuberculosis screening for review. Interview with caregiver confirmed during the inspection.Plan of Correction: The provider will schedule and complete screenings this week
