Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 5/7/24 from 11:30am to 12:20pm. There were 4 children (12 points) with 1 caregiver. The children were observed in play and coloring activities. 1 child's record, 1 caregiver's record, emergency drill records and other daycare postings were reviewed. The lunch menu included sweet potato wedges, chicken nuggets, fresh berries, applesauce and milk. Areas of non-compliance are listed in the violation notice. Description: Based on record review, the family day home did not practice emergency evacuation procedures monthly.
Evidence: The evacuation drill was not completed and documented for April 2024.

Plan of Correction: Drills will be completed and documented.

Description: Based on record review, shelter-in-place procedures were not practiced a minimum of twice per year.
Evidence: The last shelter in place drill was conducted in January 2023. A second drill was not completed for 2023.
