Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 4/3/2023 and concluded on 4/3/2023. There were 24 children present with seven staff supervising and one kitchen staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records were reviewed. The inspection started at 11:30 am and concluded at 1:00 pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-A
Description: Based on record reviews the center failed to provide to the licensing representative an annual fire inspection report from the appropriate fire official having jurisdiction.
Evidence:
The most current fire inspection is dated 1/4/2022.

Plan of Correction: The fire marshal has been contacted requesting that an inspection be completed.
