An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:25 am-11:50 am. Child ratios and supervision was found to be in compliance.
The home, staff records, child records, household member records, eveacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site. Children were observed
playing freely with blocks, dolls and singing and dancing. Diapering procedures were also observed and discussed. There was an ample supply of books,toys and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-920 Description: Based on observation, menu for the week was not provided or posted for parents.
Evidence: Provider stated that she did not post / provide o weekly menu for parents.Plan of Correction: I did not know I had to do this. I will start now.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-690-D Description: Based on observation the diapering surface was not cleaned and sanitized after each use.
Evidence: The diaper changing surface was cleaned with a wipe and not sanitized with a product that meets the definition of "sanitizer".Plan of Correction: I will use a sanitizer.
