An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 7/21/2022. There were 67 children, ages 6 weeks-5years and 16 staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. Medications for children were observed during the inspection. A total of 5 children?s records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed during circle time and active time on the playground. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 9:30am and departed the center at 11:15am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-C Description: Based on the review of five staff?s records, the center failed to ensure that a follow up tuberculosis screening for staff members was obtained.
Evidence: Staff #3 was hired on 6/13/2020 and on the day of the inspection the most recent tuberculosis screening expired 5/29/22.Plan of Correction: Provider has scheduled a tuberculosis screening to be completed by 7/29/22.
