A renewal inspection was conducted on 07/05/2023. There were a total of 9 children ( 21points) observed with 2 caregivers present. The children were engaged in the following: waking up from nap, handwashing, and eating snack. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel and household members, physical environment, care of children, handwashing, diapering, medication, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 caregiver/household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today. Please specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures. Please do not use staff names; list staff by positions only.

Evidence:
There was no attendance observed in the family day home. The provider confirmed there was no recorded attendance.Plan of Correction: I make a list of children in attendance.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-A Description: Based on a review of 5 child records, the provider did not ensure all records were up-to-date for each enrolled child.
Evidence:
