When children are enrolled, it is important that household items are organized and hazardous substances are put away.

An unannounced SHSI was conducted from 2 PM- 3:00 PM. The Vendor stated she has not had a child enrolled for two years. The Vendor has taken training courses and kept TB screening, First Aid/CPR, and Emergency Plan current. Items discussed included set up of space and maintenance of the areas. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-F Description: Based on interview and record review, it was determined the Vendor did not complete the annual department's health and safety update course.
Evidence:
1. Vendor has documents to verify she has taken 16 hours of annual training but it does not include the department's update course.Plan of Correction: I will take the class online.
