There was an email discussion of VDOLI requirements and requirements of regulation 150-A, which will be due prior to 2/29/2020.

Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 1/11/2021 and concluded on 1/12/2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were seven participants present and three staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed two participant records and two staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the director/person in charge COVID-19 guidance posted on the ADCC webpage.

Standard #:	22VAC40-61-230-E
Description:	Based on document review, the facility failed to review and update a plan of care (POC) for a participant at least every six months. EVIDENCE: 1. The most recent POC for participant 2 was dated 5/1/2020. This was noted on 1/12/2021.
Plan of Correction:	We've updated the Care Plan for participant 2 today and had the caregiver sign it. We will perform immediate, monthly and as needed chart checks to ensure all documents are up to date.
