A Children's Residential Facility (CRF) is a residential facility, child-caring institution, or group home that provides full-time care, maintenance, protection, and guidance to children placed through local family assessment and planning teams (under Comprehensive Services Act) or private placement (by parents or legal guardians) OR for the purpose of providing independent living services to persons between 18-21 years of age transitioning out of foster care. |
