22VAC40-73 BUILDING AND GROUNDS

Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on May 22, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. for Brown Stone Assisted Living Facility. Upon arrival, the assigned inspector met with the administrator during the entrance conference. The facility reported the census as twelve (12) residents in care. The record review encompassed six resident records and two staff records. After the entrance conference, the administrator and the licensing representative toured the building in order to monitor the facility?s compliance. The following items were reviewed during this monitoring inspection: staff training records, the facility?s first aid kit, and the emergency food supplies. All prior violations were corrected per the facility?s plan of correction. One new violation was cited during this monitoring inspection. Please submit a written plan of correction within the next ten calendar days. Your plan should specify how you will correct each violations, an intended plan to ensure future compliance , date of correction for each violation, and the job title of staff responsible for implementing the correction. Description:	VIOLATION: Based upon the building tour, the administration team failed to maintain the interior and exterior of the building. EVIDENCE: During the building tour, it was noted that bedroom #5 had several spackling spots on the bedroom walls that require painting.
