Technical Assistance:

1. Discussed assisting facility in finding alternative risk rating tools; 2. Work with facility on organizational lists for resident and staff records; 3. Work with facility on updates to policies and agreements; and 4. Assist with the potential development of a survey book. Census: 15 8:45am-1:30pm

Comments:

There were no violations identified at this time during this unannounced monitoring inspection. The facility has had no complaints during this licensing period. The nurse practitioner and family were visiting the day of the inspection and voiced no concerns. The nurse practitioner is very complimentary of follow up by staff in regards to resident needs. The facility was clean and odor free and continues to work to update the physical plant. Residents observed and spoken to had no concerns. Lunch was observed and met dietary requirements and physician orders. Staff was observed assisting those who needed additional help with meals. Outside inspections were current as were related drills. Special diets are primarily related to consistency of texture. Resident and staff records were complete. Presently only nurses administer medication. Thank you to residents and staff for your cooperations during this monitoring inspection.
