On 6/3/2019 Licensing Inspector (LI) conducted unannounced focused monitoring study to ensure correction of violations cited during 1/28/19 inspection of a self-reported incident. LI reviewed updated policies and procedures regarding resident access to the secured patio area and the required checks by direct care and administrative staff of the secured patio area. Individualized Service Plans for residents on the secured care unit were reviewed. Documentation of staff trainings regarding mandated visual checks of residents on the safe and secure unit were reviewed. LI reviewed the monthly task logs for residents on the secured care unit. LI observed the enclosed patio located on the secured care unit. All previous violations were found to have been corrected. No additional violations cited today. Exit interview held.
