Technical Assistance:

One licensing inspector observed a door propped open downstairs in the activity room leading to the outside of the building. The Licensing Inspector advised the staff member downstairs to keep an eye on the door and ensure that it was closed back and secured. This was provided to the administrator as technical assistance.

Comments:

Three licensing inspectors conducted a compliant investigation inspection at Carrington Place in Wytheville regarding allegations of residents not being properly cared for on 06/21/2019. The inspection started at 11:15 am and concluded at 12:04 pm. The licensing office received the complaint on 06/20/2019. During the complaint investigation residents were observed, interviewed, and the building rest rooms were also observed. There was not a preponderance of evidence found to support the allegations and the compliant was determined to not be valid. No violations are being cited as a result of this inspection.
