Comments:

On 7/18/2019 one inspector conducted a complaint investigation (approximately 2:30pm to 3:45pm). One resident record was reviewed, and one resident was interviewed. The complaint involved a resident being inappropriately placed in a safe, secure unit. All admission paperwork was in order for the placement, however, the facility arranged for an examination of the resident by a contract nurse practitioner, and the resident was moved to the regular assisted living section. Phone call between licensing staff and the resident, and face-to-face interview between the inspector and the resident confirms the facility took the correct action. Based on all available evidence, the complaint is not valid/unfounded.
