Comments:

On 7/18/2019 one inspector conducted a complaint investigation (12:05pm to approximately 1:45pm) regarding allegations that the residents are not being showered, supplies are low/can't be found, resident laundry isn't being washed, and residents have bruises. This was reported to another local agency. Every single room in memory care was inspected, and most resident had all required incontinence supplies. In addition, there are plenty of disposable briefs and wipes kept in several places on the memory care unit, and these supplies are not kept locked up. None of the clothes hampers were overflowing, and all resident closets had sufficient clothing for several days. As the LI walked among the residents, no body odor smells were noted, and no incontinence-related smells were noted. Thin skin, found on elderly people, will bruise very easily. No bruises were noted during the inspection.
