A follow-up inspection was completed on this date from 2:05p - 3:00 p regarding the fire alarm/security system in the memory care unit. The facility has contacted the fire marshal for assistance in changing the emergency exit door delayed response time to decrease the residents ability to exit the unit. The fire marshal reported that the building inspector was the appropriate person to contact with this request. The facility made the request and is waiting a response. In the interim, the facility has increased staffing in the memory care unit until changes can be made to the delayed egress system. Upon completion of the changes the licensing inspector will be notified and will make a follow-up inspection.
