Date of Inspection: August 27, 2019; 10am to 1:30pm Type of Inspection: Non-mandated monitoring inspection An inspection is required on a new facility within the first 60 days of opening. This inspection did not review all health and safety standards. Census 39 Number of records reviewed and interviews conducted-5 resident records, 3 employee records, 8 interviews. Standard #:	22VAC40-73-580-E
Description:	Based on observations and interviews it was determined the facility did not ensure all special diets were served in accordance to physician orders and did not have the diet manual available Evidence: Resident A had an order for a diabetic order. Staff A stated the facility had no physician order diets. No special diets were posted. Staff A could not locate a diet manual at the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction:	The Dietary Director will ensure that a diet manual is available and used for residents on special diets and that it is readily available upon inspection. The Executive Director and dietary manager will follow up and ensure that the diet manual is available and used in accordance corporate and state guidelines.
