Technical Assistance:

Licensing Inspector reminded the Executive Director that the facility's infection control and emergency preparedness policies should be revised to reflect COVID-19 precautions.

Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An initial inspection was initiated on August 25, 2020 and concluded on August 26, 2020. The executive director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The inspector emailed the executive director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed a sample resident record and a sample staff record, staff roster/schedules, and other facility documentation, which was submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Facility policies and procedures were reviewed upon receipt of the facility's initial application. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. A conditional license will be recommended.
