Buildings should be kept free of infestations of vermin. The grounds shall be kept free of their breeding places. If current procedures in place such as the sticky traps set for mice are not working to help control the issue other options need to be looked into that are more effective so that an infestation is prevented.

A non-mandated complaint inspection was initiated on 07/20/2021 and concluded on 07/26/2021. A complaint was received by the department regarding allegations in the areas of Resident care and building issues. The administrator was contacted by telephone to conduct the investigation. The licensing inspector emailed the administrator a list of documentation required to complete the investigation. The licensing inspector conducted an on-site observation at the facility on 07/21/2021.
The evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegation(s) of non-compliance with standards or law. The report was valid. Technical Assistance was provided.
