Technical Assistance:

Please note that the license cannot be issued until all documents have been submitted and reviewed by the Licensing Inspector. It should also be noted that part of the building will be unlicensed independent living and not included on the license. Please develop a weather policy regarding the automatic sliding doors leading to the courtyard in memory care.

Comments:

Licensing Inspector (LI) conducted an announced initial inspection on 8/5/2021. LI walked the physical plant, verified window and room measurements, reviewed policies and procedures and staff records. All references and background checks have been reviewed by the LI. The Building Inspection Report, Fire Inspection and Fire Marshall approval of the Fire and Emergency Evacuation have not been completed. Please provide written verification that the call bell system is operational in the resident rooms.
