Technical Assistance:

1. Request for sliding scale insulin that the pharmacy add a space to indicate units given.

Comments:

This mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on site. The facility was found to be clean and odor free. All required postings were available to residents and families. Outside inspections were complete and follow up was done as applicable. Emergency drills including fire, resident and weather had been completed. Four staff and four resident files were reviewed. All eight were complete as required by the standards. Additional MARs were reviewed and recommendations made to assist medication aides in administration. Residents were participating in activities throughout this inspection process. They voiced no concerns with the care and services received. The facility has had no complaints during this licensure period. The facility had no areas of noncompliance identified during this inspection process.
