Technical Assistance:

1. When administering as needed/PRN medication it is best to document what was actually observed. 2. A walk thru of the additional rooms requested to be added to the license was completed along with a review of outside inspection paperwork. The area meets all standard requirements.

Comments:

An unannounced renewal inspection was completed along with a request for capacity increase based on the completion of additional rooms. All outside inspections were current for all areas including documentation of related fire and emergency drills. All postings were observe as required. Activities were occurring as posted. Four resident and four staff files were reviewed along with a four person medication observation. No areas of noncompliance were identified. The facility was clean and odor free. The additional rooms requested all meet standard requirements. The residents raised no complaints or concerns.
