Comments:

An anonymous complaint was received by the licensing office via the online complaint service. The allegation was a facility staff person spoke rudely and in a tone to be intimidating to several residents. Upon receipt and return of the administrator from vacation the staff person identified as the perpetrator and another staff who indicated they had had a comment brought to their attention by a resident were interviewed. The perpetrator denied having made the comment but did admit she could be loud sometimes but there was no intent. The administrator noted she had reports previously but only as they related to comments to staff. despite being able to fully substantiate the allegation the alleged perpetrator was placed on one week suspension with a warning that should another incident occur or been alleged that involved a resident the staff would be immediately terminated. The staff accepted the suspension without incident and behavior will be monitored by the administrator and or assigned staff in her absence. Reference internal Complaint number: 57519
