Technical Assistance:
Consultation provided on documenting the specific time of day parents are notified of injuries to their child, stating "at pick-up" is not acceptable. Consultation provided regarding the staff maintaining their own attendance log and not simply utilitizing the parental sign in and out as the attendance.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the director, who was present with two additional staff and nineteen children. The children were finishing making candles for mothers day, listening to music, dancing and doing a variety of arts and crafts at the beginning of the inspection. Afterward, they washed their hands and had snack ( fruit, graham crackers and water). Four children had medications on site, three staff and seven children's files were reviewed. Arrival time: 4: 30 pm Departure time: 5: 30 pm
