Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 1:45pm - 3:00pm. Upon arrival there were 63 children with 13 staff present. A sample of 3 staff and 6 children's records were reviewed. Summer transportation and field trips was also reviewed with the Director. Children were observed during nap, quiet activities and during afternoon snack. After school children were observed entering the building from the public school bus.

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-430-K
Description: Based on observation the center did not ensure provision was made for an individual place for each child's personal belongings. Evidence: In the 4 year-old and Kindergarten hallway children's bookbags were observed in a pile inside of a large bucket and did not have them in an individual space for each child.

Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the Program Director: The director spoke with the staff to ensure all the spaces provided for the children's personal belongings were being used.
