A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 8/17/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirement. There were 24 children in care with staff supervising at all times. Children were observed playing outside, picking vegetables, eating lunch, washing hands, during a diaper change, and resting. Five children's records and five staff records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. A violation was found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-032-A Description: Based on interview, a lock down drill had not been completed. Evidence: 1. The inspector spoke with the directors who stated they had been planning for a drill but one had not been completed. Plan of Correction: A lock down drill will be completed next week.
