Comments:
Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, September 28, 2018. The on-site inspection was from 11:05a.m. to 1:45p.m. On this date, there were 19 children present and in the care of two staff members. There were a total of 20 children enrolled in the preschool program. There were five children's records reviewed on this date, and and one staff members' record was updated on September 25, 2018 at the MACAA main office. The one classroom was observed. Two staff members and four children were interviewed. There was no medication on-site or being administered. Lunch was provided by the school and consisted of chicken fillet sandwiches, carrots, pineapple and milk. There were no violations of the licensing standards observed today. The theme for the week was All About Me and My Family. Some of the items observed and reviewed were: emergency supplies, first aid kit, injury reports, warm water temperature, current health and fire inspections, emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drills, transitions, bathroom and hand washing procedures, lunch, outdoor play and nap time.
