Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B Description: Based on observation, hazardous substances were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: 1. A right side unlocked cabinet above the sink had 5 cleaning products inside and the cabinet lock was not in the locked position and opened without a key. Plan of Correction: Remind staff to keep the cabinets locked and when opening and closing the cabinets, make sure they are locked back.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-H Description: Based on observation, the center did not ensure purses were inaccessible to children. Evidence: 1. One purse was on laying on top of the counter next to the sink the children use to wash their hands. Plan of Correction: I will make sure the teachers put their purses in the teachers closets when they first come in.
