- Technical Assistance:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from approximately 12:10 PM until 4:00 PM to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The following ratios were observed with a total of 71children present during the inspection: Infants - 7 children with 2 staff Toddlers - 9 children with 2 staff Twos/Threes? 15 children with 2 staff Threes/Fours - 15 children with 2 staff School Age - 25 children with 2 staff During the inspection, the children were observed resting at nap time, listening to music, having books read to them, washing their hands and taking bathroom breaks, eating snack and playing with toys. Areas of the center including classrooms, hallways, bathrooms and playgrounds were inspected. The center was equipped with toys and supplies, and items were available to the children. The provider stated transportation is not provided at this time. Medication is administered and medication, authorization forms and allergy plans were reviewed. Last documented fire inspection: 02/25/2019. During the inspection, six children's and six staff records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
