A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 04/29/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 18 children, ages 6 weeks-4 years, in the care of 5 staff members during the inspection. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records, 5 staff record and the record for the facility owner during the inspection. The children were observed in the following activities: during free choice play/center play, having lunch and during nap time. Infants were observed being fed and allowed to sleep on demand. Proper hand washing and table sanitization were also observed during the inspection. The inspector reviewed the emergency preparedness plans, the injury prevention plan, the playground safety plan, the sick child policy, and the emergency supplies during the inspection. The inspector discussed the following with the staff: over-the-counter skin products, model forms, the renewal process, the playground, and position qualifications. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection.
