Technical Assistance:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:30am-1:45pm. There were 108 children in the direct care and supervision of 24 staff members. The additional rooms/spaces being used for the SACC summer program were measured and inspected. A sample of 10 children's records, 5 staff records, 6 injury reports, 6 medications, the physical plant, and emergency procedures were reviewed. The children were observed eating lunch, going outside, and participating in a variety of activities.

Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 11:30am-1:45pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 108 children in the direct care and supervision of 24 staff members. The additional rooms/spaces being used for the SACC summer program were measured and inspected. A sample of 10 children's records, 5 staff records, 6 injury reports, 6 medications, the physical plant, and emergency procedures were reviewed. The children were observed eating lunch, going outside, and participating in a variety of activities. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
