Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-K Description: Based on observation and verification from staff, the staff did not sanitize the tables before eating.
1. Before the children sat down at the tables for lunch, the staff cleaned the tables with soap and water but did not sanitize the tables with a disinfectant solution.
2. Staff Member #1 verified that the tables were not sanitized before lunch.
Plan of Correction: Staff now understands that tables need to be sanitized before and after eating. They will clean tables before lunch and then sanitize them.
