An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 12:00pm to 2:30pm with the owner and director. There were 68 children in care, ranging from four months to five years of age, supervised by nine staff. The infants were observed finishing lunch which consisted of barbeque chicken sandwiches, corn, mandarin oranges, and milk. The older children were observed getting ready for nap and napping. Seven children?s records and four staff records were reviewed. The Center has adequate staff certified in CPR, First Aid, and Daily Health Observation. The owner reported that they do not have any medication on site today, but the center has staff current in Medication Administration Training (MAT). The attendance and emergency drill log were reviewed. The last evacuation drill was conducted 10/21/19 and the last shelter-in-place was conducted 8/24/19. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery operated radio were observed. The most recent Fire Inspection was conducted 9/18/19 and the most recent Health Inspection was conducted 7/29/19.
