Technical Assistance:
Lighting at nap time was discussed.

An unannounced inspection was conducted today. There were 8 children (24 points) with 2 staff. The Program has a variety of age and stage appropriate equipment. Children's files, attendance records, menu, drills, and current postings were reviewed. The Provider is completing her CDA. The children were served beef, noodles, carrots, bananas, and milk. Diaper change and hand washing was also observed.

Description: Two children were observed with bottles while lying down.

Plan of Correction: We will give bottles before nap.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-110-B
Description: Based on review of two children's files, one child ( who is under two years of age ) does not have an up-to-date immunization.

Plan of Correction: Child was gone during summer and I will request update.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280
Description: Based on observation, the Provider does not keep all disinfectants stored in areas inaccessible to children. The Inspector noted a half bottle of ear piercing solution on the lower table located by infant formula.

Plan of Correction: Removed during the inspection.
